| 2011 ford f250 crewcab fx4 6.7l diesel engine. sometimes you push on the gas and nothing happens and it takes a few seconds and it kicks in and goes. towing a fifth wheel thru a stop sign with a 18 wheeler bearig down on you sucks. almost didn't make it out of the way. this happen twice in one day. the dealer heard noise from my fuel pump so the they changed the fuel filters and i had a recall for some computer upgrade data thingy. i only have 24k miles and this has happened a few other times without a load on it (towing or not). did i just spend $61,000 on a death trap?? at the diesel stop.com website, there are many other people with this same problem. i have taken my vehicle in to a dealer and they say can not duplicate but this happens every now and then. one person on that forum was able to take a ford mechanic driving with him and was able to duplicate the problem but later the mechanic said nothing was wrong. sounds like a cover up to me. what should i do?? just keep taking my truck in to the dealer? | |||
