| 2002 ford f250 super duty pickup. the spare tire came off while driving. the tire is carried under the bed and held in place with a steel cable and winch assembly, the cable broke that holds it in place. thank goodness this happened on a low traffic county road, this spare tire is heavy and could be a dangerous traffic hazard if it were to hit a car traveling on the road. my first thought was it was a random isolated failure but i have talked to another ford super duty owner that had the same problem. *nm | |||

| Ford 2002, f250 crew cab pickup, diesel, started on fire in the driveway on december 1, 2003, 4-5 hours after it was parked. i burned down our garage and the second vehicle that was parked next to it. the garage is not attached to the house. | |||
