 Ford truck. consumer writes in regards to recall on gas tank straps *tgw the consumer stated the service rep at the dealer stated even though the straps were replaced, the pin holes in the gas tank was very common and the truck was old. the dealer stated they complied with the recall, and there was nothing else they could do. *jb

 Ford f-150. consumer writes in regards to an unsatisfactory experience at local dealer related to recall repairs *tgw when the consumer called the dealer, he was informed there were no parts available. the consumer stated he called weekly, and received the same answer. finally, the dealer received the parts. however, when he arrived, he was informed the parts were no longer available. the next day, the consumer went to another dealer and the straps were replaced. *jb
