| The hidden weldment holding the rear liftgate strut broke causing the strut to become dislodged and allowing the gate to violently fall on my back, shoulders and head. while painful for me this could have catastrophic impact on a child. i took the vehicle to a gm dealer who said they couldn't repair this and suggest i talk to a body shop. | |||

| Tl* the contact owns a 2007 gmc envoy. the fuel gauges on the instrument control panel inaccurately displays the amount of fuel present in the fuel tank. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. the technician stated this was a common failure for her model type. he then added that the failure was not covered under warranty, so she was ineligible for a free remedy. the current and failure mileages were 39,200. updated 3/8/10 *cn the consumer also stated that the rear hatch was inoperative and when it rained the windows would get stuck. updated 05/13/10.*jb | |||
