| Problem was noticed the moring after the jimmy was refueled. upon inspection the rear seam of the fuel tank was rusted to the point of leaking fuel all over my garage, causing a strong gas smell. the cause appears to be that the two metal ( tank and frame) parts are to close allowing dirt and road residue to set in an impossible to clean area causing rust. with the gas dripping this could be a fire hazzard with the license plate wireing running close to the gas. | |||
