| Defect Summary | Dope, inc. is recalling 42,540 combination corner and bumper lamp assemblies of various part numbers sold for use as aftermarket equipment for various passenger vehicles. these headlamps fail to conform to the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment. these lamps do not contain the required amber side reflectors. | |||||||||||||||

| Dt*: the contact stated while traveling 50 mph, a bumping noise was heard coming from the rear of the vehicle. when the contact looked in the rearview mirror, nothing was noticed. when the vehicle was parked, the contact found the driver side taillight assembly was hanging by the wires. the dealership determined the tabs holding the taillight fractured and ordered a new taillight assembly. | |||
