| After fastening seatbelts (both driver and passenger) correctly, and you lean forward or move a small amount, the portion of the seatbelt that crosses your chest does not retract correctly-instead, this portion is loose and hangs away from your body. this situation has occurred a long time ago with no relief. a gmc dealer explained the ratchets are not working properly and have not been. as you can see, the vehicle does not have many miles on it and has not,nor does the vehicle experience any abuse. as stated earlier, this situation has lasted for quite awhile. thank you.*ak | |||
