| The first time my engine stalled was back in 2001 on the middle of the 101 freeway in los angeles. i took it to the dealer and they stated it had to do with a chip. they replaced the chip and i haven't had a stalling problem until now. my car has stalled twice in the parking lot and once on the freeway. i am very upset that something so serious has not been fixed and was only a temporary fix. it seems to happen more when i have the heater or ac on and if i come to a stop.*ak | |||

| While traveling at approximately 50 mph vehicle passed under power lines coming from a tower which caused radio/ guages, and engine to operate erratically and then stop functioning. this event has occurred twice when passing underneath these power lines. please provide any additional information/attachments. *ak | |||

| First failure as noted in form, second failure of same componant on 08/03/01 @ 65 mph pulling 5000lb boat, 20503 miles. third failure 08/17/01 same componant, sitting still in a parking lot. 20700 miles. this electronic failure is becoming very dangerous as the engine will stop running, causing vehicle to be hard to handle | |||

| My 2000 gmc has had a stalling issue from the day it was delivered. it has been in and out of the shop several times and the dealer has been unable to get it fixed. the dealer has told me they will replace a computer chip by sept. 30, and hopefully it will solve the problem.. i will file a lemon law complaint to have the vehicle repurchased if it is not fixed by sept. 30th. the dealer admits that there are several of these yukons and pickups that have this stalling problem, however, if they are aware of the problem, they are not making potential customers aware of the problem, perhaps that would hurt their bottom line!! also, these yukons are sold with firestone le tires, by reviewing the nhtsa website and some of the other customer complaints, i see there are several that had the tires blow, maybe there needs to be a check on these tires as well as the ones already recalled . *ak( dot number: ) | |||
