| While driving on the highway i noticed my speedometer reading erratic speeds (i.e. 110 mph while driving 80 mph) i thought it would go back to 0 mph when i stopped but it didn't. instead it went passed 120 mph and has been there ever since. this is a big problem because you don't know how fast you are going. after researching online how to fix the problem i noticed hundreds of complaints about the same problem with the same vehicle. i have a gps that tells me how fast i'm going so i can still drive it but something needs to be done before someone gets hurt or freaks out behind the wheel. *tr | |||

| Speedometer issues, failure, improper readings, dealership won't repair as replacement was only covered if under 70,000 and parts only under 80,000. i have 90,000 on it now. i have owned the vehicle since it was brand new. i received no letters or recalls indicating a need to replace the cluster. *tr | |||

| I have a 2004 yukon denali xl, i am having issues with the speedometer being erratic. i will be driving with traffic in a 35 mph zone look at my speedo it says i'm doing 110 mph. i will schedule to have it looked at and then it will work fine for the next 3-6 months then it will screw up again for a couple of days. this is very troublesome as i really never am sure at what speed i am going and my dealer says there is no recall on this item even though i have seen hundreds if not more complaints exactly like mine on the internet so this is not an isolated situation. what can be done????? *tr | |||
