 Tl- the contact owns a 2003 honda cr-v. the contact stated that while attempting to accelerate from a traffic stop, the vehicle stalled without warning. the vehicle was able to be restarted after several minutes. the contact also stated that the ignition switch interlock failed, causing the failure. in addition, the keyless remote failed to unlock the doors and the check engine light illuminated sporadically. the vehicle was not taken to a mechanic. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not contacted. the failure mileage was 55,000. kmj

 Tl-the contact owns a 2003 honda crv. the contact stated the ignition switch interlock was inoperable. this causes the vehicle engine to not start. after stopping at a stop light the vehicle stalled but restarted after ten seconds. all four door locks was also inoperable when using the key less entry the doors only open manually. the check engine light also illuminates stating the oxygen sensor has failed. neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified. the failure mileage was 55,000. mw

 Dt*:the contact stated the plate covering the catalytic converter came completely off the vehicle. this occurred without warning. the plate was observed hanging from under the vehicle. the dealership found corrosion on the bolts of the under carriage. there appeared to be no water damage. *ak updated 1/25/2006 - the consumer contacted the dealer and manufacturer. they claimed that the undercarriage was a non-warranted area and that the consumer would be charged for repairs. *nm
