| When i recently purchased a set of new tires from a local tire dealer, the mechanic warned me that nissan / infiniti have a history of defective tire pressure sensors and indicated that the tire pressure sensor was indeed defective. i looked on-line and saw that vehicles have been recalled for this issue, but my vehicle was not recalled. also, since this item is known to be defective, i do not understand why the warranty requires the part to be submitted before any action is taken or any rebate is issued. i could not be covered under my warranty since the part was discarded by the mechanic upon determining that it was defective. | |||
