| The ac/radio controls go out intermittantly on by 2003 g35, even though a few g35's were covered under a voluntary service campaign - my vin # was not on list - ac now stuck on and snow is due in 2 days! infiniti says not a safety hazard and they will not cover???? i not a safety hazard in cold weather i don't know what is.. there are 100's of post similiar to mine on internet - when is someone going to talk some since into infiniti. this is the thing that is keeping me from ever buying another infiniti - not so much the problem, things happen- but it the way infiniti is handling it. they know it was an engineering boo boo and they are refusing to take responsibility. they need to grow up!!! | |||

| 2003 infinit g35. the radio, a/c, & heat controls go out due to a terrible mistake by the engineers in routing the radio and climate controls to one circuit board. living in the mid-west this is a huge issue because i cannot defrost my windows when it's snowing. infiniti issued a voluntary recall, but most likely missed around 90,000 cars. this is a large problem and they do nothing, it's a huge safety risk. | |||

| 2003 g35 sedan central console a/c, selected lights, and audio controls stopped working suddenly. cannot control heat/defrost/air conditioning. caused windows to fog up quickly impairing visual field while driving on highway. this is very hazardous because of its unexpected and unpredictable onset. | |||

| Electrical control panel: heat/ defrost/ radio and cd/tape. intermittent operation was reported to infinitii dealer in 2008. at the present time (oct. 2010), the control panel is totally inoperable as of the beginning of october 2010. there is no way of controlling the ac/defrost/temperature. the audio/ climate system was inspected and confirmed that the circuitry has internal failure. this has posed a hazard since there is no way of controlling the defrost and fan to unfog the windows. there was a voluntary recall in 2004, however i had not been notified. several similar complaints have been blogged. dealer will replace unit for approximately $550.00 at owner's cost. however, it appears that it is a defect by the manufacturer. | |||

| The a/c comes full blast at a very cold temperature. we are not able to turn it off or turn it down. we are not able to use the radio either. all the radio and temperature controls are not functioning. after a lot of research i found, that this is the same exact problem that was in the voluntary service campaign that inifiniti had back on feb 13, 2003 el03-003reference, itb03-007. nhtsa# 10001253 or 10001162 or 10001246. this service campaign involved the replacement of the audio finisher circuit board. our car was built in jan 03 and was not covered under this recall is what i am being told, because it only covered 2003 g35 sedans manufactured through 8-21-02. this car should also be covered under this service campaign. since it is the exact same problem and apparently they did not fix the problem when this car was built. this voluntary service campaign should have been extended to all the 2003 models. | |||

| Loss of controls to 03 g35 radio/ac/heat. initial power failure only affected console controls and wheel controls still worked for radio control. about a month later the wheel controls went as well. entire blower for ac/air and heat is gone. entire console kit and stereo had to be replaced. old stereo was retained. | |||

| There is an apparent known defect in the 2003 infiniti g35 models. the radio and climate control will apparently lose all indicators, as if there is no power, but will continue to function, staying frozen on at their last settings. the radio volume or channels cannot be changed and the air conditioning/heater,etc. are stuck on their last settings and cannot be changed without turning the car off. this is caused by a defective control board behind the dash. infiniti/nissan is aware of the problem, and has issued a voluntary service campaign (# itb03-007b) to repair the 26,300 vehicles listed by vin # on the service bulletin. this is a hazard , as in the winter, the front or rear defrosters cannot be turned on, or the air conditioning turned off, causing a hazardous driving condition. infiniti says my 2003 vin # does not fall into the bulletin parameters, (vin # is higher), and they will not cover the repairs, even though it is the same problem. infiniti states the cost to repair.........$2600.00. i have 2 other friends that are having the same problem with their 2003 g35 infiniti's, also not covered by the service bulletin. it is apparent that the bulletin did not go far enough to cover this defect on a larger quantity of vehicles than infiniti wants to admit. *tr | |||

| Radio/ac went out and are malfunctioning. i started my car and when turning on the radio the ac went to auto ac and went up to level 5 with out any warning. my radio followed by not working. all lights on the radio ac console went out and i am unable to control either from steering wheel or console. the audio finisher circuit board will have to be replaced. over 1700 complaints found related to this topic with 2003 g35 infiniti's. *tr | |||

| My 2003 infinity g35 sedan's heater will stay on high with the radio and heating control removed. i can access the radio through the stereo, but have no dashboard controls of the radio or ac at all. *tr dealership wants pre-paid a $700 audio finisher/circuit board. when the part came in, they would install it, and if the radio/cd player was defective, it would fry the finisher immediately, but then they would know that the radio was bad, and would send it out for a re-build for approximately $350 and two weeks worth of waiting with no tunes or ventilation system. plus labor, of course. | |||
