| The third brake light on the rear window deck fails to work intermittently creating a situation where vehicles following may not realize that our vehicle is braking. this creates a concern for my safety as well as my childrens safety. this is a very frequent problem with infiniti vehicles of this make but infiniti will not acknowledge the problem. | |||

| Electrical control panel: heat/ defrost/ radio and cd/tape. intermittent operation was reported to infinitii dealer in 2008. at the present time (oct. 2010), the control panel is totally inoperable as of the beginning of october 2010. there is no way of controlling the ac/defrost/temperature. the audio/ climate system was inspected and confirmed that the circuitry has internal failure. this has posed a hazard since there is no way of controlling the defrost and fan to unfog the windows. there was a voluntary recall in 2004, however i had not been notified. several similar complaints have been blogged. dealer will replace unit for approximately $550.00 at owner's cost. however, it appears that it is a defect by the manufacturer. | |||

| Air conditioning unit comes on randomly and would not shut off. at the same time, the radio became inoperable. initially this problem would happen just a couple of times per week, but now it's a permanent issue. infiniti recognizes that a problem exists, but will not recall because they claim that it's not a safety issue. this is a huge safety issue because i cannot control the front or rear defrost. *tr | |||

| There is an apparent known defect in the 2003 infiniti g35 models. the radio and climate control will apparently lose all indicators, as if there is no power, but will continue to function, staying frozen on at their last settings. the radio volume or channels cannot be changed and the air conditioning/heater,etc. are stuck on their last settings and cannot be changed without turning the car off. this is caused by a defective control board behind the dash. infiniti/nissan is aware of the problem, and has issued a voluntary service campaign (# itb03-007b) to repair the 26,300 vehicles listed by vin # on the service bulletin. this is a hazard , as in the winter, the front or rear defrosters cannot be turned on, or the air conditioning turned off, causing a hazardous driving condition. infiniti says my 2003 vin # does not fall into the bulletin parameters, (vin # is higher), and they will not cover the repairs, even though it is the same problem. infiniti states the cost to repair.........$2600.00. it is apparent that the bulletin did not go far enough to cover this defect on a larger quantity of vehicles than infiniti wants to admit. *tr | |||

| I have an infiniti g35 (2003) that has suddenly had problems with the heat and air controls. when the problem started, it would go out after the car was on for more than 10 minutes. now, the controls do not work at all. this can potentially create a safety problem for a driver when the windshield fogs up in either cold weather conditions (after being garaged) or humid weather conditions after a rain shower in the hot summer. this is a serious safety issue when the windshield fogs up as the driver is operating the vehicle. after doing an internet search about this problem, i found that there are literally thousands of other 2003 g35 owners with the same problem. also, infiniti knows of the problem and the safety concern, but has not done anything about it to fix the problem for all vehicles in which this occurs. there was only a voluntary posting and it only included vehicles made in a certain time period. obviously, the timeframe established by infiniti is not correct as there are many cases where this defect is still ocurring. this safety concern needs to be addressed and corrected. i have not had a crash as a result of this defect, but i do not want to have one in the future. others with the same problem most likey feel the same way......some may have actually had a crash because of this defect. this should be investigated. | |||

| I own a 2003 infinity g35 sedan. the climate control system often turns on by it self. depending on the weather this causes the windshield to fog so it is had to see while driving. i have seen on the online forums that a lot of people have this problem. the dealers want to charge $ 1,200 to replace these units. *tr | |||

| I presently own a 2003 infinit g35. the entire climate control functions and dash lights do not function because of a problem with the radio. a recall was initiated for the audio finisher circuit board by infiniti but the problem still exists. these items will suddenly stop working while driving the vehicle. this happened to me while driving. these items do not function at present. an infiniti dealer infomred of the recall and also infomred me that my vehicle had already had the circuit board replaced and that the only other problem that would cause this would be the radio. i was also infomred that this is a common problem with this model infiniti and infiniti will not take responsibilty for this problem or the repairs. repairs cost from $600 to $1250. that price quote was stated to by infiniti. just a note, all equipment i am referrring to is factory installed. no aftermarket equipment has been installed. *tr | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2003 infiniti g35 sedan. the contact stated that the electrical system works intermittently, causing loss of defrost and air conditioning. due to the high humidity in his state, the contact was unable to defrost the rear glass due to the malfunction in the electrical system. the vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. he noticed several complaints on the internet regarding the same failure. the failure mileage was 132,000 and current mileage was 133,600. | |||

| My 2003 inifinity g35 a/c and radio controls are stuck which is causing my windows to fog up....not a big deal during the summer, but this could be a major hazard for winter. infinity says my car was manufactured after the recall date, but funny, the problems are all the same no matter when manufactured. please help before this does kill someone! *tr | |||
