ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING - ENGINE

Nissan just started a recall for stalled engine. my car (2004 infinti g35) seems to do the exact same thing but it is not part of the recall and i took it to the dealer but they said there was no problem with the car. now, the engine stalls once in a while and you have turn the car off and restart for it to work. i called infiniti and they said can not do anything right now because it is not part of the specific recall. the car poses safety issue if it is to stall in the middle of highway, it will threaten safety of others including myself.

I purchased a 2004 g35 infinity 9/2008, the car was checked 2 weeks ago on june 12, 2010 at which time 2 quarts of oil was put in, level was fine on saturday june 26,2010 coming home from pennsylvania car shut down had to be towed, mechanic states engine has gone up in vehicle, there was no oil in the car, i had no other problems with this vehicle and have been reading about the oil consumption problem, this car has always burned oil at an excessive rate. the car has 120k miles on it i am left with no car and still owe 8100 on it as a consumer i feel that infinity owes me an explanation as to why this vehicle used the amount of oil that it did and need to know if they are going to assist me in any way
