| The hood on my 2004 infiniti g35x failed at the hinges. the hood is now elevated above the line of the windshield and will not close. the failure was not due to an accident. the hood was merely opened, and the hinges failed. i am concerned hat the hood will open or fly off at highway speed or be pushed into the interior cabin during an accident. the local dealership and infiniti refuse to fix the hood under the applicable warranty even though this is an obvious safety issue. my research into this hood issue has uncovered other owners with identical failures. *tr | |||
