| Third brake light failed on my 2006 g35 sedan. i looked online and found that this is a very common issue, and was pointed to this site to try and get some action done to cover this problem. | |||

| I own a 2006 infiniti g35 and just learned that my center high mount stop light works intermittently. i have begun to research this and discovered that the problem is very common among cars similar to mine. i know the third brake light was working recently and i have seen it illuminate recently but not always. this concerns me for the safety and repair problems, and for the fact that it seems to be a widespread problem with these cars. i think there should be a factory recall issued for this safety equipment. | |||

| Led center high mount stop light fails prematurely. common issue on 03-06 g35 sedans. failure is related to the light itself due to either defective leds or resistors in the light. common complaint on internet forums and commonly seen on road. expensive to repair and required for inspection and safety which is why it's a frequently complained about issue. my own vehicle is experiencing a failed third brake light. part is expensive to purchase and required complete dismantling of rear seat area and package tray to replace | |||

| Subject:new infinity 35 brake light dear sir: i followed a new model of infinity-35 on the off ramp of north bound 101 freeway at woodside exit at redwood city, ca around 8:10 pm tonight. while we were approaching the traffic light of the exit, the tail light of car in front brighten up so intense that almost blind my eye. it almost caused an accident to me since i was not able see the road for a instance. i guess the such flash was due the ignition of the brake light. the tail/brake light of the infinity-35 is not the regular tail light seen in older car, it composes of many smaller lights (may be led). in this new model, the smaller light layout as two circulate ring. i believe this is not a unique incident and may be caught other people of guard of those sharp/intense brake light. can you please check whether this is a hazard to the general public? i did take down the license plate of the car and related information as follows for your reference: model: infinity 35 color: black license: 5sgh189 time of incident: 8:10 pm 3/21/2006 place of incident: woodside offramp, north 101, redwood city, ca. if possible, can you give me a response what will nhsta do about my complain. i can be contact at archiewu@hotmail.com or 650-430-96666 thanks! archie. *jb | |||
