We receive a letter from infiniti company because i'm the owner of a infinity qx56, year 2006 notifying me that the fue gauge in some fo the vehicle may be inaccurate due to a manlfunction in the fuel level sending unit, that cause the instrument panel fuel gauge to inaccurately display that the vehicle still has some fuel, tipically about one quarter tank, wen te fue tank is empty and that if this were to occur on my vehicle, the vehicle could stall, wich could create an unsafe condition which could result in a crash. i never ago has this problem but i ever mainatin the fuel level in my vehicle so the fuel gauge reads above the one half position, so i was very interesting to have my vehicle reapired, but i was based in panam

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 infiniti qx56. the contact stated that while driving at speeds of 65 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. the dealer performed a diagnostic test and replaced both the battery and fuel pump. the contact confirmed that they received notification of a recall campaign (nhtsa campaign id number: 10v074000-fuel system, other: storage: fuel gauge system) for his specific vehicle. the dealer advised maintaining at least half a tank of gasoline at all times. the dealer also confirmed the parts needed to perform the necessary recall repairs were not yet available. the approximate failure mileage was 50,000 and the current mileage was 75,000.
