| During annual state inspection, mechanic found a large area of corrosion, approximately 16 x 8 inch in floor pan above the catalytic converter. this area has a quarter size hole at the center of it, extending into the interior below the rear seat, which could allow exhaust fumes to enter the passenger compartment. the lack of a heat shield, which according to the dealer's parts department, did not exist for this model caused the undercoating to melt and exposed the metal for corrosion. | |||
