| The emergency brake tensioner broke. it renders the e-brake inop. the car must be parked in gear in order to keep it from rolling and may still roll depending on the hill. this is not a one of a kind occurrence and has been reported many times in the jeep jk forums. the tensioner spring is too brittle and brakes at the crimp point on the brake hand lever. | |||
