| 2006 lincoln zephyr. consumer writes in regards to vehicle smells of fumes while driving *tgw the consumer also stated there was a smell of burning rubber and fire coming from under the vehicle, throughout the passenger cabin and through the cracks between the hood and fender wheel. he noticed the vehicle was knocking and running rough, so he turned it off. he then lifted the hood, and discovered smoke pouring out of the motor. the vehicle was towed to a repair shop. an inspection revealed a bad coil went bad on the motor, which caused the engine roughness. the coil had melted severely. the repair shop informed the consumer, the coil would not connect with the computer. the repair shop informed the consumer, the dealership would need to program it. the dealer informed the consumer five more coil needed to be replaced as well as the computer. | |||

| Im filing this complaint due to having issues with my 06 lincoln zephyr. while driving my passenger side air bag light turned on and in order to get the light to turn off i had to turn off my vehicle and restarted it but the light has not come back on since then. im also having problems with my passenger side a/c seat climate control randomly turning off completely on its own. im also having issues with my a/c blowing hot air and i was told it's a sensor deep in the dash that cost approximately $25.00 but the labor is $500.00 plus. i need to find out if there are any recalls for the 2006 lincoln zephyr v6 3.0. *tr | |||

| Brand new 2006 lincoln zephyr. electric doors do not lock until a speed of 15-18 mph is reached. ford's manual states: doors lock at 12 mph. dealer could not fix it. contacted ford. they consider it a non issue and closed the file. i find this a safety hazard since it takes a long time in busy commute traffic to gain this speed. *nm | |||
