| From what i see on the ford motor car company website they knew their 3.8 liter engines were having this problem. they have never informed me as such and it looks like they may have had a so-called silent recall. after talking to their coustomer relations they gave me no satisfaction whatsoever. they said their recall applies only to 1994 and later models. no recall problem mentione dwithin summary. *ak | |||
