| Soon after the vehicle was purchased vehicle started to leak oil, and vehicle had some problems with steering pump. contacted dealer, and dealer replaced steering pump twice, and tries to fix leaking problem. but to this date problem still occurs. *ak the power steering pump was leaking and was replaced. but the leaking continued and the dealer did services like cleaning the tensioner, replaceing belt tensioner assembly, but the customer states that the vehicle was still leaking oil. *yh | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2000 mercury sable. while backing out of the driveway at 5 mph, the rear passenger side tie rod end failed and nearly punctured the tire. the dealer stated that the failure was due to faulty struts, but the vehicle was safe to drive. a local mechanic stated that the struts were not the cause of the failure, but rather the tie rod end on the passenger side of the vehicle. on january 4, 2008, the dealer replaced the tie rod end at the cost of $142.42. the failure mileage was 129,001 and current mileage was 130,004. | |||
