| Approaching a parking lot gate slowly with my foot gently on the brake. engine suddenly surged to full power. i'm a 250 lb. male and applied brakes with both feet and couldn't stop vehicle. hit the gate arm causing little damage (inconsequential). finally stopped and engine returned to idle when i managed to shift to neutral. | |||
