| An f-350 ran a stoplight at 50 mph and impacted the front driver side of van at the tire. the van turned upon impact and received the balance of the impact head on with concentration to the left quadrant. further spinning, the van then impacted the side of the offending vehicle. complaint: the air bags did not deploy. she was wearing her seat belt. she sustained injuries to cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions of back. she was treated for 2.5 months and then released. her head hit the driver side roof, thankfully, just above the window resulting only in bruising. her muscles were sore from head to toe for about a month. it is quite possible that these injuries would have been minimized by airbag deployment. high impact crash to the bumper and no protection of airbags seems to be a common complaint found online. positive feedback: the entire front end, engine, battery, etc. compacted into a pancake, but the passenger compartment had only a small buckle on the floor board at the pedals. the engine was crushed. this was a definite positive. (unrelated to accident complaint above: the exterior handles of the sliding doors were replaced twice. prior to the latter repair, when the passenger side exterior sliding door handle broke, my daughter's hand was cut and bruised!) *tr | |||

| Nissan quest 1.0 i paid, and never reimbursed, for the cleaning of carbons deposit in part of the engine called throttle-body assembly in november 05, 2003. mileage: 57,934. ref.: superior court for the state of california for the county of los angeles - robert meyer vs nissan north america, inc. case no. bc 263136. 2.0 in 2006 my nissan quest started having problem to hold the idle speed at 750 rpm and the engine stop every time i am waiting at the traffic light. mileage: 101,000. 3.0 the nissan dealer couldn't reset the idle speed and stated that to fix the problem they have to charge me over $2,000 without the guarantee that the problem will be fixed. 4.0 i request that nissan north america recognizes that this vehicle has a manufacturing problem and fix my vehicle without charge. *tr | |||

| Since april 7, 2003, i have taken my car in for a noise in the drive system. it was supposedly fixed at that time however, i have since been back 6 additional times to fix the same problem but they created new problems. i called nissan consumer they order that the car get a new tune up although i had one in november at no charge to me. i have had my fuel injection work done 3 times since november. the car is starting to act up again with the noise in the drive system and again acting like it wants to shut off. i have had it. please send guidance as to what i could do to get rid of this lemon. | |||

| Service engine came on @37,000 mi., warranty expired at 36,000? dealer cannot solve the problem, i have returned to shop 3 times and now left the van at the shop to see if it can be repaired. i am without a vehicle and do not know if the van is safe or not to drive. dealership does not tell me anything. i find it strange that this engine check soon indicator came on 1,000 mi les after warranty expired. dealership has replaced an oxygen sensor but problem continued. i am afraid to drive the van until this is resolved.*ak | |||

| I have had to change my headlights repeatedly (going on 3rd time) and my tail light (1 time). in addition, i have problems with my accelerator pedal; it seems to stick, until i apply enough pressure then it takes off abruptly fast, had these same problems (with replacing head and tail lights and accelerator) when i had my 1993 nissan quest, but dismissed them. now i see a correlation with the 2000 quest i have now. the low profile of my quest caused my transmission pan to leak fluid, because of a dip in the road. constant problems when parking due to the front end of my quest being too low and scraping the curb. problem with heating system in the rear, only blows out cold air regardless of setting it to heat. there is a very strong gas smell when my car is running (this was also experienced in my 1993 quest) only compact incident was when my tranmission pan cracked going down the street and going down a dip in the road (not a pot hole). other than these things i have been very pleased with my purchases, very reliable but these are a few things i've noticed and hope that you will consider my concerns to further be investigated. | |||
