| The heat shield over the catalytic converter rusted prematurely and fell off. the dealers claimed this part was not essential and no repairs were made. still concerned me. i also have had an unusual history of electrical related problems, to wit: (1) power window switch replaced twice; (2) instrument light switch; (3) fan switch; (4) alternator, (5) both engine cooling fans. i think there is a primary electrical problem causing all of these failures from the time i got the car, but the dealer says they must be coincidence. i never received any notification for the recalls involving the antilock breaks that i have or the front springs. i have always had one problem with antilock breaks that they have never been able to diagnose. when driving on ice, if i become stuck and the wheels spin any, then the antilock break light comes on and will not go out unless i shut off the motor and restart the engine. both of these items are listed here on your site. incident date is estimated date for the heat shield. other items were at different times.*ak | |||

| As purchasing my car in march of 2000 ..i was envolved in an accident 1 month after purchase to brakes failing had been in the shop where purchased 2 times the second time which they kept for 1 week said the couldnt get the abs light to come on it never goes off... the problem is getting worse the brakes squeak and get hot took it to the shop in durant they told me i had major tbrake trouble to contact who i bought it from so i did the told me they didnt have the equipment to work on nissan abs brakes but they have had it in teh shop twice for this problem i took my car to midway nissan in sherman texas they found that my car hasmain body damage in right leg door pillar, front end also bearings ,speed sensors, wire harness.needs glassand seal for sun roof ,needs 2 speed sensorsans needs new modules,and 4 warped rotors .i have a promisary note signed by them stateing the would fix my abs light ans sunroof .....i feel like this car is a safety hazard the machanics told me it was a very unsafe vehicle ...... | |||
