| Tl- the contact owns a 2008 nissan sentra. while parked the contact noticed the tire pressure light illuminated on the instrument panel. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. the technician was able to shut the tire pressure warning light off but the failure continued. additionally, the air bag light illuminated on the instrument panel. the technician was unable to diagnose the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 79,000. da | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2008 nissan sentra. while driving 20 mph in foggy weather conditions, he crashed into an embankment. the vehicle was completely destroyed and the air bags failed to deploy. the seat belt also constricted his ability to move and eventually he was able to open the seat belt. the contact suffered internal bruising. the cause of the failures were unknown. the failure and current mileages were 16,000. updated 10/26/09. *lj approximately 30 seconds after the impact, the air bags deployed; simultaneously the seat belt began to tighten. the seat belt did not stop tightening until it broke. it broke from the floor exposing a long cable and other wires. the buckle was still attached. the seat belt caused deep internal bruising. updated 10/26/09. *jb | |||

| My daughter was in a bad wreck hit an embankment head on and rolled the car then flip up side down the airbags did not deploy. i have reported it to nissan. now the have a recall on the airbags as of april 6 but no notices have been sent out to anyone yet. *tr | |||
