| 2007 nissan titan needed all 4 rotors and brakes replaced at 20k miles. not covered under warranty due to age. on occasion, would feel slight wobble during braking from highway speeds, but nothing too bad. then one day last week the front right brake started producing a horrible metal on metal sound, even when not braking. in my opinion there is absolutely no way that a truck with 20k light use miles should need to have all four rotors replaced. | |||

| Tl. the contact owns a 2007 nissan titan. the contact stated while driving 30 mph the vehicle is difficult to brake due to the brake pedal and gas pedal being too close to each other. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and the dealer stated there is nothing they can do. the contact stated the manufacturer should design a brake override system to prevent a crash if the brake and accelerator pedal are engaged at the same time. the contact stated a crash could occur if the contact has to slam on the brakes and accidently hit the gas pedal. the failure mileage was 25,000. jo | |||

| The nissan titan 2007 has a front end brake problem . they wear out to the point that when you press the brake the front brakes chatter and it feel like you are going over rumble strips. they have been replaced by nissan three times in 32000 miles . they tried to charge us all three times but after threating to call a tv station they relented and replaced them. a mechanic who felt sorry for us said this was a massive problem aand nissan has not issued any orders to dealers. he indicated that the entire brake set up are to small for the very large titan truck. a look on the internet under complaintsnwill bear out the size of the problem. help help help | |||

| Rear axle seals leaking on 2007 nissan titan pickup. rear axle grease was leaking onto wheel and rear brake disk... potentially causing a failure of the brakes to stop adequately, had i not found the leak as quickly as i did. i understand that this is a frequent failure on the nissan titan. here is one link to a forum that is tracking axle seal failures among its members: http://www.titantalk.com/forums/titan-engine-transmission-drivetrain/42837-rear-axle-seals-leaks-please-report.html. *tr | |||

| Rear axle seals leaking on 2007 nissan titan 4wd pickup with 23,500 miles. rear axle grease was leaking onto wheel and rear brake disk... potentially causing a failure of the brakes to stop adequately, had i not found the leak as quickly as i did. i understand that this is a frequent failure on the nissan titan. nissan replaced the seals under warranty with identical seals. i did not keep the old parts. here is one link to a forum that is tracking axle seal failures among its members: http://www.titantalk.com/forums/titan-engine-transmission-drivetrain/42837-rear-axle-seals-leaks-please-report.html there appears to be 350 nissan titan rear axle seal failures reported on this one website alone since august of 2008. *tr | |||

| This is my 2nd nissan titan in less than 2 years! i traded in a 2005 with less than 20,000 miles because of 3 full tire set replacements and new brakes at 6,000 miles and problems that the dealer stated are currently fixed in the new 2007 models. my new 2007 at 1200 miles dealer replaced defective rims with a new set of defective rims that are a after market plastic hubcap glued to the steel rim which is clicking and popping while in motion and after 15 minutes driving when i park they still pop and click until they completely cool down which is about 30 minutes later. i also have the drivers side window go down by itself and stop exactly at 3 inches after i attempted to close it, my ac does not cool at all and often does not come on even when my gps screen says it is set on high and running i have to pull over turn off truck then restart truck to get ac to come on. dealer says they cannot find the problem even though there is a tsb on it that i gave them! dealer said window problem is due to georgia heat, it is doing what it is suppose to do but my other 3 windows don't have a problem! my rims they stated that they want to put more glue a tsb tech to fix the problem! that is not a repair that is a band aid that will not hold with the heat tires put off! as of now i will never ever purchase any nissan ever again and i will be buying new rims for my truck and nissan consumer affairs has not helped at all what so ever only tell me to do the tsb glue repair and even though i paid 1800.00 extra for chrome rim package they will not refund or purchase new rims at all so i am on my own. *tr | |||
