Defect SummaryCertain delphi fuel pressure regulators, p/nos. fp10020-11b1, fp10026-11b1, and fp10027-11b1, sold after january 9, 2007, as aftermarket equipment for various passenger vehicles listed above. the universal pressure regulators (upr) were produced without an o'ring and retainer.
Consequence SummaryFuel may leak, possibly resulting in a fire.
Corrective SummaryDelphi will notify owners and replace the upr free of charge. the recall began on april 23, 2007. owners can contact delphi at 877-411-8770.

 While traveling at speeds over 50 mph vehicle will start to shake to the point where vehicle can lose control if in the rain. contacted dealer, and the dealer noted that fuel injection system is the problem. *ak dealer performed an injector service, throttle body service, added an adative to clean the valves, replaced the fuel filter, wires, plugs, relay, and the fuel pump, however repairs did not remedy problem. *tt

 Consumer would fill tank and later the fumes would be very loud. if over night there would be a puddle of gasoline, only if the tank was full. mechanic replaced the tank and found a hole in the upper area, (consumer still has the tank with the hole).
