| Tread separation in tire. the tire was a p205/17r15 with dot u9m0 lbx2701 f01l. the tire name was response rst touring 2000. the tire had 16000 miles and was on the vehicle 16 mar 2002 to 19 sep 2004. the tire was sold and installed by ntb, national tire & battery, stafford, tx. owner deduced the separation after the defective tire was rotated to the rear of the vehicle and later noticed the bump from the tread separation. ntb stated that the remaining 3 tires would also fail by tread separation. all four tires were replaced. none of the tires was replaced free of charge. | |||
