| Tl-the contact owns a 2004 saturn ion3. while the vehicle was parked, the contact was getting something out of the trunk of her vehicle and the lift gate of the trunk came down on her shoulder. she stated she had injuries to her shoulder and head. the trunk lift gate will not stay up when depressed the button inside the trunk. the contact stated she has to hold it up manually. the vehicle has not been take to an authorized dealer. the failure has happen twice. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure mileage was 58,000 and the current mileage was 60,300. vwb | |||

| Failure of a wiring harness in a front door that controls windows, mirrors and door lock. a 2004 saturn ion with 25, 106 miles had 5 broken wires in the drivers door. the left rear door has no power at the window switch. this failure is due to an inherent design flaw that forces tiny wires to bend 2 times at 90 degrees and be slammed by a door!! think of the safety of unlocking a door in a panic situation or driving with a window down in rain, sleet, cold, etc., and a fuse is not the problem. *tr | |||
