Consequence SummaryIf the cargo weight is exceeded and the trailer overloaded, the excess weight can cause handling problems, irregular tire wear, tire failure or other damage. an overloaded trailer is hard to stop which could result in a loss of control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. this could occur without prior warning.
