TIRES

My family and i were headed to vacation at the beach approximatly 230 miles from home. both tires on drivers side blew out 20 miles from our destination. luckily i brought two spares. when leveling our starcrft travel trailer i noticed one tire on passenger side had large chunks of rubber missing and radial wires showing, as well as wires coming through the sidewall. i spent three days and $236.00 trying to find tires. i always check for proper air pressure and for defects before going on the road. the bad tires had less than 1500 miles and are carlisle 175/80/r13 dot db 1u h12r 1502. i did have a blowout a year before with the same tires. now i have no carlisle tires on any product that i own. *jb
