| A wire with a terminal end near the fuel shutoff solenoid grounded and shorted out which blew the fuse. the same fuse powers the fuel solenoid, thus the solenoid closed, shutting down the engine. i was in heavy traffic, in a construction zone at the time. when the engine stopped, i blocked i-75 traffic for about 20 minutes until a tow truck arrived. also, with no power steering, the vehicle is extremely difficult to steer. also, the fuse which blew is labeled ignition. a diesel engine has no ignition, thereforei required a tow truck and technicians to determine the problem. | |||
