 Tl-the contact owns a 2010 toyota tacoma. the contact stated that the vehicle would begin to lose power while accelerating. the vehicle would not completely stall, but the engine would exhibit a severe loss of power. the contact also stated that the failure was intermittent, usually occurring when attempting to accelerate past other vehicles or accelerate up to highway speeds. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on several occasions, where they were unable to duplicate the failure. the failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 16,000. sm.

 Tl- the contact owns a 2010 toyota tacoma. the contact stated the vehicle looses power when accelerating. the contact stated the vehicle does not completely stall, but there is a severe power loss. the contact stated the failure does not happen all the time, but when the failure occurs, the contact is usually trying to accelerate to pass a vehicle or accelerating to get to highway speeds. the contact has taken the vehicle to the dealer on several occasions and has been told the failure cannot be duplicated. the failure mileage was unknown, but the current mileage was 16,000.rl

 2010 toyota tacoma. consumer writes regarding high rpm of vehicle engine *tgw the consumer stated the dealer did not offer a diagnostic or road test to determine the extent or reason for his safety issues. a technical service representative stated the engine specifications were set electronically at the factory and the rpm could not be adjusted. the consumer stated the issue appeared to be a high rpm of the engine, which created an aggressive surge when placed in forward and reverse positions. *jb
