| I purchased this vehicle brand new in may 2010. i saw a sticker in my door jam that notes modifications to my vehicle had been made to reduce the load carrying capacity. after doing some research i learned there was a recall in february 2010 that led to the modification. when i purchased my vehicle the salesman did not reveal to me there had been a recall or any changes had been made to my vehicle. i contacted the local dealership as well as the headquarters office on 12/08/2010, 01/06/2011, & 01/13/2011. they gave me a case number & told me after the 3rd attempt to call there was nothing else they could do. to this very date i still can not get anyone @ the local dealership or toyota headquarters to return my call in reference to this. i am still not clear on what modifications were made & how it impacts my vehicle. i am not happy with the treatment i have received from toyota and feel if they sold me a faulty vehicle that it should be taken back. | |||
