| Tl-the contact owns a 2010 toyota yaris. the contact stated that the key was in the ignition when the contact shifted into park. the vehicle then abnormally began to roll away in reverse from a residential driveway. the contact attempted to stop the vehicle but was unable to open the driver's door. the vehicle came to a stop as it crashed into another vehicle. the vehicle was not taken to the dealer. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure and current mileage was 32,000. kmj | |||

| Decided to look at the 2010 yaris after noticing oil leak in the 2008 yaris. the 2010 had the same leak. had the 2008 head gasket replaced by the dealer. haven't had the head gasket of the 2010 replaced yet. concerned that the head cylinder gaskets are most likely defective. looked at 7 other yaris, 2008's (5 including mine) and 2010's (4 including mine) that had oil and oil residue in the same spot where the oil leaked from the 2008 yaris sedan. the 2008 faulty head gasket was sent to toyota corporation to be inspected for any defects. we've asked (emailed) toyota corporation of japan several times about their findings with the head cylinder gasket removed the 2008 and they have not revealed their findings. | |||
