| Defect Summary | Coachmen is recalling 2,555 my 2000-2009 georgie boy and coachmen recreational trailers equipped with axles that include bosch zops or zoht pin slide hydraulic disc brakes. when combined with occasional or seasonal vehicle operation may experience calipers sticking in the applied position. this can result in abnormal heat generation at the wheel end causing brake drag. the driver would normally have warning of the brake drag if undetected by the driver. | |||||||||||||||

| While test driving my rv, prior to sale, the brakes overheated. investigation by a service center (golby motor corporation) revealed the problem were the brake calipers. when i checked online, i found what appeared to be a recall for this problem, 51101-c. however when investigated by the service center and using the workhorse online verification system, we were told that this vin was not affected. i believe the recall should be reviewed for additional additions or a new recall considered, if the defect is different than the one identified in the stated recall. *tr | |||
