ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING - COOLING SYSTEM

I purchased a 2006 gsx-r750 in april 2008 with 3000 miles on it. the fi light and display go on and stay on, with no code being lodged with the onboard computer. i have had it cleared twice and the fault recurs. the bike gets poor gas mileage, has poor throttle response and occasionally stumbles on deceleration or at low revs when engine temp is high. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2006 suzuki gixxer gsx-r750. while riding 35 mph, antifreeze spontaneously sprayed onto the contact's leg. upon inspection, he noticed that the cooling fan failed in the radiator unit, which caused antifreeze to leak out. the failure nearly burned his body parts. he is in the process of notifying the manufacturer. the failure and current mileages were 5,000.

Gentlemen i own a 2006 suzuki gsxr 750 sport bike and to put it lightly, i am scared to ride it. the problem is that the bike while riding at an average speed at around 4000-6000 rpm's, with just a minute change in acceleration the bike accelerates and decelerates uncontrollably. this is a great problem which can lead to loss of control and potentially lead to an accident. i have taken the motorcycle to the dealers numerous times with no fix. the problem is more evident at an engine operating temperature of about 195-210f. i ask that you investigate and attempt to find a solution from which we all can benefit. thank you. *tr

At low rpm's or opening throttle from stop, the throttle abruptly engages and jerks me forward in an uncontrolled manner. this could be serious if i were to loose control or take my attention away from the road or vehicles in front of me. *tr

Abrupt on/off throttle can cause sudden and unexpected rapid deceleration and acceleration, destabilizing the vehicle potentially leading to loss of control and a crash. the problem seems to occur at lower engine rpm's (4,000-6,000 rpm) and seems most prevalent at high engine temperatures (205+ degrees) and especially when the vehicle is turned on and started while at higher temperatures. *tr

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE

My gas tank on a 2006 gsxr 750 rusted out in under 3 years. gas was pouring out of the bottom of the tank where 3 holes were subsequently discovered. apparently, rusted out gas tank is not covered under warranty on a 3 year old bike. if the gas tank can't handle the regular water content of the gas that is poured into it, it is an unsafe tank. *tr

1.) at this point there is no failure...yet. 2.) my 2006 suzuki gsxr 750 and 2006 suzuki gsxr 600 motorcycles have severe on/off throttle response. when applying throttle no matter how much and/or how smooth the application is, motorcycle has a abrupt response. problem is also very bad when getting of the throttle also. by saying abrupt motorcycle does not accelerate or decelerate smoothly. if not done at the utmost care, operator can be very easily be thrown off and/or severely effect the balance of the motorcycle therefore causing injury, property damage and possible death. motorcycle cannot maintain smooth/constant speed smoothly. did notice the problem in spring of 2006 but thought it was normal until recently had a chance to ride a different motorcycle and also after some researching. i also recently purchased another same type motorcycle (gsxr 600) and problem is very apparent also. nothing has been done to correct this problem. *tr

Sometimes when in 2nd or 3rd gear at mid to low rpm's the bike just seems to cut out very abruptly with hardly any throttle movement. *tr

The vehicle is a 2006 suzuki gsxr750. the vehicle has an intermittent and dangerous problem with the fuel injection. periodically the vehicle will stall at highway speeds. this problem occurs after the vehicle is warm and has been driven for a time. obviously it is dangerous for a motorcycle to stall at any speed. i am one of hundreds of owners with the same issue. it has not been addressed by suzuki. though my vehicle is out of warranty i profess this is a potentially dangerous factory defect that should be addressed. *tr
