| I have a 2002 hayabusa motorcycle. about a month ago when attempting to start the bike the starter gear would slip and i would hear an abnormally loud clanking sound. finally, i attempted to start the bike and the starter would not engage, (just spinning up). i had to have the bike towed ($75) to the dealer who is aware of the issue. when i called suzuki usa they refused to acknowledge the issue. after some research i discovered that the issue is discussed in technical service bulletin 126 issued by suzuki. they will upgrade the starter gear parts only when failure occurs. i feel they should issue a recall. *ak | |||

| There is a failure in the seal for the clutch rod. contaminents are getting in and discoloring the dot 4 brake fluid. this discoloration is the first sign of failure and yet the dealer says to change only during normal maintenance, two years. this seal is unprotected and is subject to failure thus compromising the clutch system.*ak | |||
