| The vehicle had only liabiliy insurance at the time of the accident, so allstate paid no money. a claim was filed through firestone. after sending the failed tire along with pictures and estimates of the vehicles (there was a motorcycle in the bed of the truck at the time of the accident), firestone had sent me a reply back stating that the tires tread peeled due to an improper repair. the only repair that i am currently aware of was done only days before the tire peeled, leaving no time for the tread breakdown to occur. the repair was done at a repair shop. i currently have the peeled tread from the tire and firestone is sending the complete tire back to me in the near future. *ak (dot number: vd60axc195 tiresize: 31x10.5r15) | |||
