| Defect Summary | On certain travel trailers equipped with samsung microwave ovens, these ovens were produced with a defective panel. an electrical short can occur between circuit patterns on the membrane panel, especially overlapped by a jumper or jump wire. this may cause the oven to activate without pressing any key pads. | |||||||||||||||

| The consumer received a notice recall# 03e044000 regarding the microwave ovens/circuit short. the maytag service technician was unable to install the replacement part. the technician indicated that the part did not fit because the microwave was not defective. the consumer contacted samsung who told the consumer, the microwave is on the recall and that maytag's service technician must have installed the wrong part. the consumer then contacted maytag who is insisting that the microwave is not on recall. *jb | |||
