Corrective SummaryDealers, in conjunction with continental general tire, will remove and replace these tires with new tires and new valve stems. the front tires and spare tire will be the same size as the existing tires. the rear tires will be size 215/70r15c and have a higher load rating.

 I purchase a winnebago rialta rv in january of 1998. in june of that year i received a recall notice dated may 8,98 for the replacement of all 5 tires on the vehicle.

 While driving down the highway on dry pavement the tire blew out and stripped tread off the tire, leaving nothing but a little cord, causing the vehicle to skid, no impact occurred. minor injuries to one person. general tires was notified and replaced all tires with larger tires. *ak
